WALTERBORO, S.C. — Video released by the Colleton County Sheriff’s department shows the June 17 pursuit of ‘Star Wars’ actor, Jake Lloyd, that ended after his car slid out of control, ABC News reports.

Lloyd, 26, played Anakin Skywalker in 1999’s “Star Wars: Episode 1.” The incident began when the actor tried to evade officers attempting to pull him over and continued driving. The pursuit reached speeds of 100 miles per hour.

“As Colleton County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to pull the vehicle over, the vehicle started passing cars on a double yellow line and increased speed, driving in a reckless manner,” the arrest report obtained by ABC said.

The pursuit ended when Lloyd lost control and crashed his vehicle. He remains in jail for charges that include reckless driving, failure to stop and driving without a driver’s license. Police added he has no attorney.
