Ron Avery

Ron Avery is co-founder and director of training for The Tactical Performance Center (TPC) located in St. George, Utah. TPC is dedicated to teaching state of the art firearms training doctrine to law enforcement, military personnel and civilians.
Ron is a former police officer, as well as a martial artist, and he brings that experience into the training environment. He is internationally recognized as a researcher, firearms trainer and world class shooter. His training methodology is currently being used by hundreds of agencies and thousands of individuals across the US and internationally. He is a weapons and tactics trainer for handgun, carbine, precision rifle and shotgun, as well as advanced instructor schools, defensive tactics, low light tactics and officer survival. He is also a consultant for firearms training programs, use of force and firearms research, range development, instructor and program development, and other firearms or related topics.
In addition to training at his on-site facility, he travels with TPC staff and conducts training for law enforcement agencies, military personnel from all branches of the armed forces, competitive shooters and qualified civilian shooters.
