Video: Officer pushes stranded woman in wheelchair all the way home

When a Tennessee officer noticed a stranded woman in a wheelchair, he knew he had to help

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — When a Tennessee officer noticed a stranded woman in a wheelchair, he knew he had to help.

WINS reports that Knoxville PD Investigator Jim Quick immediately exited his patrol car and came to her assistance.

The officer pushed the woman up a hill, across railroad tracks and eventually to her home. The Knoxville PD shared a dash cam video of the officer’s act of kindness and praised his actions.

“This is what we mean by #CommunityStrong,” the department wrote.

 

Caught On Camera KPD Investigator Jim Quick jumped into action on the evening of December 27th after seeing a disabled and stranded female stopped in the road near Montgomery Village. Inv. Quick immediately exited his patrol car and began pushing the heavy electric wheelchair up a hill, across the railroad tracks, and all the way to the persons home. Great job Inv. Quick! This is what we mean by #CommunityStrong.
