Officers who thought they’d seen it all were surprised at this call

KEY WEST, Fla. — Officers rescued a woman who got herself stuck in a banyan tree, ABC 10 reported.

Officer Scott Standerwick and a fire rescue unit were dispatched to help save the woman from her self-imposed prison. 

"They popped her out like a cork," a department spokesperson told ABC 10.

A Facebook photo capturing the rescue was captioned with “Protect and serve!” and garnered over 3,000 reactions.
