LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A sheriff’s deputy who smelled and tasted bleach on his burritos is concerned for his health after consuming possibly tainted food from a local Taco Bell.
Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy Brown ordered the burritos on his way to a call Sept. 23 and had eaten two of them before realizing they smelled and tasted off, according to Fox News.
Brown inspected the fast food bag and smelled bleach. He notified authorities after his tongue began to feel “numb and tingly,” WXYZ reported.
Officials are investigating the incident.
