The National Association of Chiefs of Police (NACOP) is the chartering organization of the American Police Hall of Fame located in Titusville, FL and supports all educational programming, exhibitry and activities therein. Headquartered within the 50,000 sq ft Hall of Fame building, NACOP also supports law enforcement officers and agencies through a variety of other initiatives. Our Family Fund for Paralyzed & Disabled Officers provides support for the families of officers permanently injured in the line of duty – support through college scholarships, summer camp funds for the children, holiday and birthday gifts for children ages 0-18, medical reimbursement, and more. Our K9 Placement program has raised and distributed over $1 million, securing, training and outfitting over 100 K9 units for agencies in 31 states. Our new tactical training program for law enforcement (LEEP – law enforcement education program) in conjunction with Eastern Florida State College, will bring world class instructors and training to our facility for LEOs at the local, regional and even national level. Our annual Fallen Officer Memorial Service during Police Week gathers hundreds of family survivors from across the nation for a moving tribute followed by a joyful family day outing. Additionally, our annual needs survey, and the quarterly Chief of Police magazine, help to identify and address common concerns between agencies across the country. Likewise, our recent acquisition of acreage adjacent to our facility includes dynamic new plans for a facility expansion and a stunning 100 foot tall law enforcement eternal flame.
