RI man facing charges following collision with police cruiser
The man is charged with operating under the influence along with other charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A man is facing multiple charges following a collision with a police cruiser that was nearly head-on.
According to local news station NBC 10 News, the cruiser was hit by an unidentified suspect around 3 a.m.
The officer and suspect were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The officer has been released.
The driver is being charged with operating under the influence, not having a license and refusing to take a breathalyzer.
