Calif. police kill gun-wielding erratic man
The officer contacted the suspect, and then the suspect produced a weapon

CORNOA, Calif. — A 30-year-old Corona man was shot to death Sunday during a confrontation with police, according to police and coroner's investigators.
David Salas died at 8:34 p.m. Sunday at Corona Regional Medical Center, less than an hour after the 7:55 p.m. shooting in a shopping center parking lot along the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue, coroner's investigators said in a written statement.
