This week’s photo comes from Sgt. Rob Dellinger of the Placer County Sheriff‘s Office in California. Dellinger writes:
This is a photograph I took at night of our patrol car up on Barker Pass which is above Lake Tahoe. This is a view looking south west over what is called the Granite chief wilderness area. I wanted to capture the Milky Way directly over the patrol car. This is a long exposure photograph with some light painting to bring out the patrol car in pitch black light.
