Streamlight will demonstrate the new dual-switch models of the Strion series of LED flashlights at the 2016 IACP conference.
The compact, rechargeable Strion DS, DS HL and DS HPL feature two push-button switches (one head-mounted switch and one tail switch) that operate independently, allowing the user flexibility in accessing multiple lighting modes.
The DS delivers 375 lumens, while the DS HL and DS HPL models deliver 700 lumens. The DS HPL’s beam reaches around 420 meters. The DS HL and DS reach over 219 meters.
The water and impact-resistant lights, which feature three variable intensity modes and a strobe, have a battery life ranging from one hour and 15 minutes (high intensity) to 20 hours (low intensity). The lithium ion battery has a three-hour recharge time.
