CAMBRILS, Spain — One police officer singlehandedly took down four terror suspects in the seaside town of Cambrils Thursday.
According to the BBC, the officer shot four of five suspects who were in a car that drove into pedestrians in Cambrils, just hours after the deadly car attack in Barcelona.
After the vehicle drove into the crowd, it overturned and the suspects began attacking people with knives.
Catalonian police official Josep Lluis Trapero said it was “not easy” for the officer to take down the suspects.
The fifth suspect was killed by police shortly after.
Seven people were injured in the attack, one of whom died.
