 Dear P1 Member,

It's May, the month we participate in the most sacred of our profession's rituals, honoring our fallen during Police Memorial Week services throughout North America. There are over 275 women on the NLEOMF wall in Washington DC. They are mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, partners and friends; they are heroes.

In this edition of the PoliceOne Women's eNewsletter, columnist Sgt. Nancy Fatura shares her "Five Tips to Make You a Better Commander." She begins by asking a thought-provoking question:"When was the last time you had fun at work?" PoliceOne Associate Editor Loraine Burger brings us firearms training tips from legendary firearms instructor Vicky Farnam. And because May also means "Mother's Day," I'm going to remind you that what your mom told you growing up will probably help you become a better cop.
