How the "Red Sox Cop" healed a city
 December 23, 2013
Dear PoliceOne Member,

With Christmas fast approaching, we must be cognizant of the fact that — according to ODMP — Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve are historically the deadliest days for police officers throughout the year.

"Whether you're facing a domestic disturbance call, suspicious person/vehicle, or responding to an emergency, it is imperative that you keep that heightened level of awareness this holiday season and always," said ODMP in a December 2012 blog post.

From all of us at PoliceOne, Merry Christmas. Stay safe out there, my brothers and sisters.

Watch out for Christmas camouflage
