In this Issue
Dear P1 Member,

I am proud to introduce the second issue of the Women Officer's eNews. As we honor our fallen during National Police Memorial Week, we are saddened by the loss of seven female crime fighters in the first four months of this year (three by gunfire, three in vehicle crashes, and one by assault). We also recognize that law enforcement is a 'brotherhood,' we are a family, and we mourn the loss of our 70 brother officers who have fallen as of today.

This newsletter is great information and training for anyone in law enforcement — sworn or civilian, male or female, rookie or chief — and we have so much to share with all of you. In this issue, I’ll take a realistic look at gender differences in law enforcement leadership while PoliceOne Contributor Roy Bedard continues his series of columns on the female warrior.

We also have tips, videos and more... enjoy, and stay safe!
