Editor's Note:

A recent incident in which police in Newport, N.H. apprehended a suspect by disguising themselves as firefighters is grabbing headlines. In the latest development, the president of Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire has come forward to criticize the tactic, saying it could endanger firefighters and paramedics because "criminals no longer realize who's there to help and who's there to apprehend." What do you think? Are these kinds of tactics dangerous? Or are they examples of the kind of creative thinking that effectively helps cops nail suspects more safely? Join the conversation by adding your comments, or email us your own outside-the-box disguise ideas.
