WASHINGTON — The National Law Enforcement Museum received a $1 million donation from the FirstNet team at AT&T, the museum announced Wednesday.

The FirstNet team at AT&T will sponsor a feature in the museum’s “To Serve and Protect” exhibit that educates visitors about the nation’s 18,000 law enforcement agencies, crime and the investigation process.

“This gift will help further the Museum’s mission of telling the history of American law enforcement in an immersive and engaging manner,” museum executive director David Brant said.

FirstNet is a joint project with AT&T and the First Responder Network Authority which seeks to provide responders with cutting-edge communication tools to better protect others and themselves.
