WASHINGTON — Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) is hosting a Virtual Memory Board, an interactive event to honor fallen officers.
The memory board, which will debut on Facebook Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m. CST, will show a pre-produced roll call showing each officer’s picture and name, as well as images and audio from family members.
The video will also be available to view on the C.O.P.S. website after it airs on Facebook.
“Since we are unable to physically be together during National Police Week, let’s be sure to show that peer support is the heart of C.O.P.S., even virtually,” the C.O.P.S. office wrote on Facebook.
