Reader poll: 78% carry off duty most of the time

Training for concealed and off-duty carry is just as important as on-duty firearms training

It should come as no surprise that the majority of our readership who participated in the poll carry off duty most of the time.

Interestingly, in a separate poll, most readers said they do not receive any type of off-duty carry training from their agencies. But there are a number of things – from departmental policies to LEOSA considerations – that make training for concealed and off-duty carry just as important as on-duty firearms training.
