CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — An officer suffered a fatal heart attack while conducting traffic control on a special assignment.
According to ODMP, Detective Kagan Dindar was directing traffic October 18 when he collapsed.
He was transported to a hospital where he suffered a second heart attack and fell into a coma, which he remained in for several days until he passed away October 24.
Dindar was an Army veteran and had served with the Clarksville Police Department for six years. He is survived by his wife and daughter, according to the report.
