Video shows Va. high schooler attacking SRO

The student is now facing multiple felony charges

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va — A Virginia high school student is facing felony charges after he allegedly attacked an officer last Thursday.

According to local news station Fox 5 DC, staff told the student to go to the office from the cafeteria but he refused several times. He then allegedly attacked a staff member.

A Loudoun County SRO tried to calm down the student, but he reportedly attacked the officer. The officer defended himself and took the student into custody.

The student faces felony charges including obstruction of justice by force, assault on a school official and assault on a law enforcement officer.

He was also charged with destruction of property and disorderly conduct in a school.
