Calif. sheriffs fatally shoot suspect at home

This is often overlooked in training, which is why high level simulations and confrontational exercises are vital to officers in training -- especially regarding deadly force situations."

Sonoma County sheriff's deputies shot and killed someone in a Sebastopol home Monday after being summoned by some of its residents, police said.

Police responded to the home on the 1400 block of High School Road around 8:40 a.m., police said.
