Woman shoots 3 Chicago officers with shotgun

Editor's Note — "When approaching a house, officers tend to sweep side-to-side, but forget to look up,” says Street Survival instructor Sgt. Betsy Brantner Smith. “The bad guy can be watching you from an upstairs window, like the guy who shot at me from a second story a few years back."

These Chicago officers are to be commended for their 4-man entry team. Having enough back-up can be key to winning on domestic calls.
