Video: Okla. officer opens fire as vehicle rams into him

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — The Sand Springs Police Department released dramatic body cam footage of an officer opening fire on a car driving straight into him, KFOR reported.

Master Patrol Officer Matt Stacy was attempting to stop Stacey Ann Bunsey, 41, who was suspected of driving a stolen vehicle.

When Stacy got out of his patrol vehicle, Bunsey drove and crashed straight into him.

When the officer became aware of Bunsey’s intent, he fired his weapon and shouted for her to stop.

Stacy was taken to the hospital with minor, non-life threatening injuries.

Bunsey was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding a police officer, assault, battery with a deadly weapon on a police officer, DUI drugs first offense and resisting arrest.
