LINWOOD, N.J. — Linwood police are searching for a suspect that nearly hit an officer while he was attempting to help another driver, CBS Philly reported.
The officer was aiding a disabled vehicle on May 11 when another car nearly hit him and sideswiped his cruiser, taking off the door.
The incident was captured on the officer’s body camera and police released it to the public in hopes of catching the suspect.
Authorities describe the vehicle as a silver or gray Nissan Altima. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 609-927-5252.
