Job Description

Need Police Officers for the Navajo Nation Police - Kayenta Police Distict. Excellent benefits, Annual Leave, Sick Leave, etc. 401K is also available, along with opition of Supplemental Insurance. This is a remote area within the Four Corners area, with plenty of open spaces.

This is an excellent opportunity to be certified peace officer for the Navajo Nation, State of Arizona and New Mexico. Will also enable officer to be a federally certified Peace Officer. Plenty of Opportunity to grow.

Additional Information

Our Agency/Reservation starts righoutside Flagstaff, AZ toward Page, AZ., along the San Juan River into Utah. Utah towns include Oljato, Gouldings/Monument Valley, Mexican Hat, Montezuma Creek, Aneth. Then onto Shiprock, New Mexico up to the south side of Farmington, New Mexico. From there it roughly runs toward Grants/Thoreau, New Mexico, Gallup, NM and runs roughly along Interstate 40 back toward Flagstaff, AZ.

Job Requirements

  • Age: 21 years of age at time of academy grad.
  • Education: High School or above
  • Experience: Prior experience welcom
Also accepting lateral transfers. If with another agency then you must pass exam given by AZ POST and the POPAT.
