Job Description

Police Officer: Perform general patrol duties, conduct criminal investigations, keep the peace and ensure the safety of our community. The City of Eunice is an equal opportunity employer.

The City of Eunice is located in the southeast corner of New Mexico. We are the host city for a new two billion dollar nuclear enrichment facility. We are a progressive agency with high standards. Job Requirements

  • Age: At least 21 years old
  • Education: Minimum GED or High School diploma
  • Experience: NM certified officer preferred or out of state applicants who are a graduate of accredited academy and can meet NM Academy criteria for three week waiver academy to be certified in NM.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check, polygraph, physical, mental evaluation and interview process. NM law requires police officers to be certifed in this State at the end of the first year of employment.
