Ten years of full time paid experience as a peace officer, including two years as a Lieutenant; Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration, business
administration, public administration, or related field; and knowledge of organization and management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies, and operational needs. An Advanced California P.O.S.T. Certificate and completion of Management Certificate requirements, and a valid California Class “C” driver’s license are required at time of hire. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, or other related field preferred. Selected candidate must be in good physical condition and able to successfully complete a required medical
examination that includes a psychological suitability examination.
