Job Description

Ability to work in dangerous and stressful situations. Ability to understand and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to deal with individuals critical situations in an effective manner. Ability to gather and preserve evidence. Ability to describe facts and events accurately. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Ability to effectively interview suspects, complainants and witnesses.

Additional Information

Conducts interviews with a wide range of persons. Secures documentary physical evidence. Takes sworn statements. Conducts physical surveillance. Prepares prosecutive summary reports. Assists prosecutors in preparation and presentation of insurance fraud cases. Obtains and serves warrants and subpoenas and makes arrests.

Job Requirements

  • Age: 19
  • Education: High School or it's equivalent
  • Experience: 3 years experience as a law enforcement officer

Special preference will be given to applicants with Florida Law Enforcement Certification & a college degree from an accredited college or university; and to applicants with any insurance experience as an adjuster, investigator, or examiner; to applicants with any financial auditing or certified fraud examiner experience such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner or financial auditing or financial investigations. This is an OPEN HIRING POOL for Two Weeks to fill multiple positions in Miami. This position requires the successful completion of the following: a physical agility test, a physical and EKG, a security background check, including fingerprinting, polygraph, psychological assessment and urine drug test as a condition of employment.
