NTN scores are valid for 1 year. Classification: Entry-Level Sheriff's Deputy Salary Information: Base salary range from $5,023 per month (entry) to $7,033 per month after five years. Education incentives, longevity pay and premium pay apply depending upon assignment. Benefit Information:

Deputies may choose from a variety of work environments ranging from urban to suburban and rural. Commissioned deputies assigned to patrol work eight hour shifts on a 5-2, 5-3 schedule.
