Job Description

The City of Loveland, CO Police Department is seeking a Police Report Technician to perform report taking, investigatory, and enforcement duties as a non-commissioned police employee. Investigates cold crimes, provides customer service to citizens from the front lobby of the Police Department giving citizens general information, directing them to the proper City department and delivering limited police service. Minimum of two (2) years of extensive public contact experience required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Prior law enforcement experience preferred. National and State Crime Computer Certification or ability to become certified within 30 days of hire required. First Aid/CPR Certification within six (6) months of hire required. Must be able to participate in and successfully complete a Field Training program.
