Please DO NOT Call the City of Worthington directly. Salary Information: Communication Technicians have a 4 step salary range. Normal advancement after 12 months of service. Communication Technician starting pay is $22.29/hour. The annual salary is:
  • Step A: $46,369
  • Step B: $48,345
  • Step C: $52,161
  • Step D: $58,296
Benefit Information: Excellent benefits package includes medical, prescription, vision, dental and life insurance. Holiday leave bank of 96 hours. Initial vacation leave accrual of 8 hours per month. Department Information: The Worthington Division of Police is a community-based, professional police agency with a full-time complement of 32 sworn officers, 7 reserve officers and 12 civilians. The agency is divided into four functional components:
  1. Uniformed Patrol
  2. Criminal Investigations
  3. Communications
  4. Administration
