All testing through National Testing Network (NTN) must be completed by April 17, 2014. You must complete the application and submit it to the City of Powell prior to taking the exam or requesting your score be applied to this posting. Salary Information: Starting pay is $49,857 per year Benefit Information: Excellent benefits provided Contact Information: Sue Ross City Clerk sross@cityofpowell.us Department Information: The Powell Police Department is comprised of a Chief and Deputy Chief of Police, fifteen full-time sworn officers and two civilian clerks. The department is active in community policing and the marked cruisers are fully equipped with in-car video cameras and computers. Officers have an abundant opportunity for in-service training. City Information: The City of Powell, Ohio is a premier suburban community of 12,500 residents which is located northwest of Columbus. According to CNN/Money Magazine, the City of Powell’s jobs, education, crime rate and access to leisure activities earned us the title of one of their “Best Places to Live” in 2005.
