West Chester Township seeks a proven, experienced police professional with significant and progressive management experience in all areas of local government law enforcement to lead innovative department of sworn officers and civilian employees.

Responsibilities include organizing, directing and managing all resources of the department for the most efficient discharge of its duty to preserve the peace, protect persons and property, and obey and enforce all criminal laws of the State of Ohio and the United States of America and all resolutions of West Chester Township.

Starting salary – DOQ/E

Job Requirements

  • Age: 35
  • Education: 4 year degree
  • Experience: 5 years

Ideal candidates should have at a minimum a four year degree from an accredited college or university and specialized training (i.e. FBINational Academy, OPOTA, PELC, etc.). Candidates should also have excellent management and communication skills and extensive command experience, and be a cooperative, collaborative, and strong leader.
