New Orleans PD recieves new body armor

NEW ORLEANS — A Metairie company that provides business services to dentists and orthodontists worldwide donated eight body armor suits to the New Orleans Police Department, the company announced Thursday. OrthoSynetics announced the donation at a ceremony Thursday at police headquarters.

"We appreciate all the help the community can give," NOPD spokesman Bob Young said in an interview later in the day.
