Ga. cop to handcuff self to treadmill for charity

MARIETTA, Ga. — Marietta police officer Angie Reedy will go beyond the line of duty Saturday.

For the 1st Annual "Cuffed for a Cause" fund-raiser benefiting Special Olympics Georgia, Reedy will be handcuffed to a treadmill for eight hours outside the Wal-Mart at the Trade Center on Cobb Parkway. The event is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and donations will be taken.
