High costs in battling graffiti

ORLANDO — No longer limited to the inner city, graffiti has hit the suburbs, where it is costing Central Florida taxpayers thousands of dollars to keep it under control.

Last year Orlando spent more than $55,000 to remove graffiti from public property, city spokeswoman Heather Allebaugh said.
