CONCORD, N.H. — A New Hampshire State Police dog brought to Warren Street in Concord to search for drugs bit a 13-year-old girl and her dog as they were walking down the street Thursday morning, sending the girl to the hospital, her family said.

Frances Burke-Bevis said the police dog, a German shepherd, bit her left hand after she tried to stop it from attacking her dog, a black Lab mix.
