EWA releases first-of-its-kind frequency app

Cevo gives the mobile user a list of available frequencies on their smartphone

Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) has unveiled the public safety industry’s first frequency-finding mobile app, Cevo, which identifies available spectrum to support LMR systems.

Cevo displays a series of questions to its user, like location, antenna height, power, band and other criteria, and then gives the user a list of available frequencies on their smartphone. From there, it can send the information to a customer for consideration or to EWA for formal license application preparation and frequency certification.  

Cevo is free and available for both Apple and Android devices and can be downloaded at iTunes and Google Play
