3D cameras will clear UK crash sites quicker

27 police forces in the UK will benefit from 37 scanners

AVON AND SOMERSET, United Kingdom — Avon and Somerset police have been awarded a grant of more than £150,000 to purchase 3D cameras that will enable them to clear motorway crash sites quicker.

The two cameras will allow officers to take digital pictures of incidents which can be viewed on computers long after the road has been cleared.
