Video: Simulator gives Colo. cops practice at split-second decisions

Police officers in Aurora are using a new training simulator

AURORA, Colo. — The first time the disheveled man in the cut-off shirt reached behind his back, he pulled out his wallet and showed it to the officers.

But the second time, he pulled a pistol from his waist band.

The officers quickly fired several shots into the man, leaving him slumped over in a suburban front lawn.
