VirTra to demo new training academy at IACP

The academy works with the company’s training simulators to produce interactive lessons on topics such as use of force

Popular training simulator company VirTra is set to demo their interactive, nationally accredited training academy at the 2018 International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference (IACP) in Orlando.

According to a press release, the VirTra-Virtual Interactive Coursework Training Academy (V-VICTA) works with the company’s training simulators to produce interactive lessons on topics such as use of force, contact and cover, and tourniquet application.

The courses meet the IADLEST standards for POST Certification, according to the company.
