NLEOMF Coverage
PoliceOne is working with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) to bring you updated coverage of National Police Week 2009. The NLEOMF's mission is to generate public support for the law enforcement profession by commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers. The organization also sponsors the annual Candlelight Vigil, where the names of 387 fallen officers will be formally dedicated on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. This year's 21st Annual Candlelight Vigil takes place on the evening of May 13, 2009.
