FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Maryland State trooper appears to have been the first person to arrive at the scene of a deadly shooting along Interstate 81 in southern Franklin County, according to emergency dispatch archives.
The trooper discovered Timothy Davison, 28, of Poland, Maine, still alive around 2:20 a.m. but shot several times, including a wound to the head, near mile marker 3, in Antrim Township, according to archives on RadioReference.com, a subscription-based radio communications data provider.
Dispatches indicate the trooper almost immediately requested "aviation to the scene," according to the audio recordings.
