NEW YORK — A cop car responding to a call crashed into another vehicle and knocked over a group of Brooklyn pedestrians, pinning one to a storefront — but miraculously, only minor injuries resulted, police said Sunday.

Video obtained by The Daily News shows a NYPD vehicle sailing through a red light with lights flashing when it’s T-boned by a Honda Odyssey at the intersection of 13th Ave. and 52nd St. in Borough Park. The police car loses control, hops a curb and knocks over a group of men and women on a sidewalk.

Yet no one was badly hurt in the scary crash, which ended with the police car pinning a woman to the front of Landau’s Health Tree, a health-food store.

About a dozen bystanders rushed to free the woman, said witness Moe Klein, 30.

“It’s very scary to see them try to pick up the car,” Klein said Saturday. “The guys were just lifting to try to free her.”

A second woman remained conscious, sitting against the wall of a building, said Klein.

“The girls were screaming very loud. It was very scary. They were in shock,” witness Jacob Klein, 27, said Saturday.

The driver of the Honda and the two women, both 18, were transported to Maimonides Medical Center, where the two pedestrians were treated for minor back and neck injuries.

The two police officers were taken to the same hospital, also for minor neck and back injuries. They underwent X-rays and CAT scans, and all tests came back negative, police said.

The police officers were responding to an emergency call when they ran the red light, cops said. The crash happened a few hours after sundown just after the end of Sabbath in the heavily Jewish neighborhood.

Moments before the crash, two men in fur hats known as shtreimels can be seen in the video talking at the corner. They saw the police car coming and seemed to dodge the worst of the impact, though their hats went flying. No male pedestrians were transported to hospitals, police said.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
